TEST

What are your chances of developing psychosomatic symptoms or illness?

Doctor Taking Notes

This psychosomatic test is based on the largest research conducted in 70 years by Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Tomas has participated in over 100 studies related to stress management and has found a strong link between stress and various conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, emotional disorders, etc.

He found that the way a person handles stress favors the development of certain diseases. For example, people who got angry when stressed were more likely to develop coronary heart disease, while perfectionists were more prone to cancer. Those who were ambitious, independent, and had high goals were more likely to develop stomach, heart, and digestive disorders, respectively.

People who were harshly self-critical and had a strong sense of duty were more prone to insomnia and migraines, while the insecure and more sensitive ones experienced skin problems and asthma.

Dr. Tomas published a list of stress responses that have been shown to lead to premature disease. The list was published in the Journal of Chronic Diseases, and the following test is based on that list.
