Fertility issues

Health-related quality of life has now been considered a primary tool for measuring outcomes in infertile couples.

Due to different biological, psychological and social differences, there are some consequences on fertility.

Infertility can be negatively associated with relationship, sexual and psychosocial well-being and directly with stressful and intense situations.

There is also a correlation between health, self-esteem, and satisfaction with the marital and sexual relationships of infertile couples.

Like women, men who try to treat their infertility suffer from low self-esteem, anxiety, isolation, responsibility, and greater sexual dysfunction.

Assessing the health components in these couples can lead to the identification of different aspects of their lifestyle and help them plan infertility treatment more effectively.
